1. Change the oil and filter
If the weather is cold, start the generator and run it for one minute. After stopping the machine, drain the oil first, and then use the filter wrench to remove the filter by turning it counterclockwise. Clean the filter interface and apply an appropriate amount of new oil on the sealing ring of the new filter. Gently screw in the new filter by hand until it cannot be rotated, and then tighten it with the filter plate hand (about 1/2 turn). Check that there is no oil leakage at the oil drain valve and the filter interface.
2. Replacement and maintenance of air filter
The air filter element needs to be cleaned every 100 hours of generator use and must be replaced every 200 hours. In harsh environments, it is necessary to increase the number of cleanings and replace if necessary.
3. Cleaning and replacement of spark plugs
The spark plug gap should be checked and carbon deposits should be cleaned every 100 hours of generator use, and it should be replaced every 300 hours.
4. Cleaning of fuel tank and filter screen, replacement of gasoline filter element
After every 300 hours or one year of use of the generator, the fuel tank, fuel valve and its filter should be cleaned, and the gasoline filter element should be replaced.
