How to change the oil of gasoline generator

1. Place the generator on a flat surface and start the engine for a few minutes to raise its oil temperature, then stop the engine.
2. Remove the oil filling bolt (ie the oil dipstick).
3. Place an oil basin under the engine and remove the oil drain screw. The oil should not be drained from the crankshaft oil tank.
4. Check the oil drain screw, sealing ring and rubber ring. If damaged, replace it immediately.
5. Reinstall the oil drain screw and tighten it.
6. Add oil to the upper position of the oil dipstick grid.
Note: 1. After the generator is first used for 20 hours (or one month), the oil should be changed immediately.
2. After every 100 hours (or six months) of use, the oil must be changed. (In harsh environments, the number of times needs to be increased, the viscosity is SAE10W30, and the API grade is SG, SH, SJ or
higher cleaning oil)
In one case, due to the long overhaul period of the generator, the insulation of the generator stator and rotor may be reduced before starting the machine. Generators with Class B insulation and above are generally damped on the surface due to the use of thermosetting materials.
